Mac Dalena: Everything you need to know

Dalena signed a reserve/future contract with the Jets on Monday. Dalena spent some time with the Chiefs and Seahawks during his rookie season, but the 5-foot-9 wide receiver out of Fresno State didn't appear in a regular-season game. If he sticks with the Jets, Dalena would get a chance to compete for a roster spot in training camp.

The Seahawks cut Dalena from the practice squad Saturday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Dalena was signed to Seattle's practice squad Tuesday, but his stint with the Seahawks will be short lived after he was let go Saturday. The 24-year-old wideout will look to join a team in need of depth at wide receiver.

Dalena spent training camp with Kansas City as an undrafted free agent before being waived in August, but now he's getting another chance with a new team. Seattle is dealing with a few different injuries at wide receiver, so it makes sense that the organization is trying to beef up its depth there.
