Detroit placed Jefferson (undisclosed) on the reserve/injured list Tuesday. Jefferson played 19 snaps (seven on defense, 12 on special teams) in Saturday's preseason game against the Chiefs. It's not clear when he picked up the injury or the nature of it, but the 2018 third-round pick will now be forced to sit out for the entire 2024 season unless he reaches an injury settlement with Detroit.
