Cut by Las Vegas

Callaway was released by the Raiders on Monday. Callaway signed with Las Vegas on Aug. 11 after being let go by the 49ers, and he caught one pass for eight yards in Saturday's 20-10 preseason loss to the Cardinals. The wide receiver will likely find a practice squad opportunity in the near future.

Headed to Las Vegas

Callaway and the Raiders agreed on a contract Monday. Callaway will join the Raiders ahead of the team's second preseason contest Saturday versus the 49ers. The wide receiver has appeared in five regular-season games in the last two years with the Saints and Buccaneers, and if he does crack the Raiders' 53-man roster, it'd likely be as a special-teams asset.

Cut by San Francisco

Callaway was released by the 49ers on Sunday. Callaway signed a one-year deal with San Francisco on July 31, but he'll now return to free agency. The wide receiver hasn't played in any meaningful action since he played in 14 games with the Saints in 2022, and wherever he ends up, he'll likely be competing for a spot as a special-teams option in 2025.
