Matt Landers: Everything you need to know

The Titans hosted Landers (undisclosed) for a workout Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Landers was with the Titans in training camp, but he was waived with an injury settlement in late August due to an undisclosed issue. He appears to be fully healthy, and while he didn't catch on with the Titans, he'll look to catch on with a team in need of depth at wide receiver. Landers has not played in a regular-season game since entering the league in May of 2023 as an undrafted rookie.

Tennessee waived Landers (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Landers went to the Titans' IR on Wednesday with an unspecified injury, and due to the timing of the transaction, he was going to have to spend the entire 2025 season there. Now, thanks to the injury settlement, he's on track to become a free agent able to sign and potentially play with another team this year once healthy.

Landers (undisclosed) cleared waivers Wednesday and reverted to injured reserve, per the NFL's official media site. Landers has bounced around on practice squads since entering the NFL as an undrafted free agent out of Arkansas in 2023. He played just one game during the preseason before suffering this unknown injury. Landers will stay on injured reserve all season unless he reaches an injury settlement with the team.
