The Colts cut Mang from the practice squad Tuesday. Mang wasn't drafted out of Syracuse earlier this year and signed with the Colts. He failed to make the 53-man roster out of training camp and has yet to appear in a regular-season contest.
Mang signed to the Colts' practice squad Wednesday. The tight end out of Syracuse was cut Tuesday after missing out on the Colts' 53-man roster, but he went unclaimed on waivers and was able to stay in Indianapolis. Indy's tight end room is led by first-round pick Tyler Warren and veteran blocker Mo Alie-Cox. At 6-foot-7 and 267 pounds, Mang could perhaps make an impact as a run blocker if gets called up this season.
