Gets workout with Houston

The Texans worked out Ximines (knee) on Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Ximines hasn't seen meaningful action since he went to New England's injured-reserve list early last season, but his recent activity suggests he has recovered from last year's knee issue. He's still a free agent as the preseason gets underway.

Ximines (knee) is out for the rest of Sunday's game versus the Seahawks. Ximines left Sunday's contest early after suffering a knee injury, and now he's been declared out for the rest of Week 2. Josh Uche should see an uptick in snaps in Ximines' absence.
