Re-signs with Washington

The Commanders signed Chosen to the practice squad Tuesday. After being signed to the active roster Nov. 11, Chosen was waived Nov. 28 likely due to the renewed availability of starting wide receivers Terry McLaurin and Treylon Burks. The wide receiver was re-signed to the practice squad as a depth option. The veteran has one practice squad elevation remaining for the Commanders this year, a move the team might enact this week if Noah Brown (groin/knee) is not yet ready to return from IR.

Cut by Washington

The Commanders waived Chosen on Friday, Zach Selby of the Commanders' official site reports. With all three of Treylon Burks (finger), Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Noah Brown (groin/knee) nearing 100 percent health, Chosen is the odd man out at wide receiver in Washington. The 32-year-old wideout has appeared in three games this season, registering a 5-53-0 receiving line on nine targets.

Joins active roster

The Commanders signed Chosen off the practice squad Tuesday. Following multiple elevations, Chosen now gets a spot on the 53-man roster in Washington. With Terry McLaurin (quadriceps) and Treylon Burks (finger) already ruled out for Week 11 against Miami, Chosen should see elevated offensive snaps against his former team.
