Swayman stopped 16 of 23 shots in Sunday's 7-2 loss to the Kings. Joonas Korpisalo played all of Saturday's loss to the Sharks, leaving Swayman to stay in for all of this lopsided defeat. This was the third time in 2024-25 that Swayman has allowed at least seven goals, and he's given up a total of 20 tallies during a four-game losing streak. He's down to 20-25-6 with a 3.12 GAA and an .892 save percentage over 51 appearances. It's a lost year for both Swayman and the Bruins, but he's still likely to see a decent share of playing time to close it out. The road trip continues Wednesday in Anaheim, but Swayman's recent play has made him too unreliable for fantasy managers.
Oleksiak notched an assist and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 6-2 win over the Blackhawks. Oleksiak ended his 15-game point drought with a helper on Jordan Eberle's game-tying goal in the second period. The 32-year-old Oleksiak still went plus-1 during the slump and added 18 hits and 21 blocked shots. He's a shutdown defenseman by nature, but he's usually good for 15-20 points per season. He's likely to be on the low end of that range in 2024-25 -- he's at 14 points, 59 shots on net, 134 blocked shots, 58 hits and a minus-1 rating through 69 outings this year.
The Vikings are slated to sign Kelly to a two-year, $18 million contract, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Selected 18th overall in the 2016 Draft, Kelly spent the first nine seasons of his career with the Colts but is set to move on ahead of his age-32 season. Kelly started just 10 games last season, missing two with a neck injury and another five following a knee scope. In total, Kelly started 121 games across his nine seasons with Indianapolis and was named to four Pro Bowls. He was a second-team All-Pro in 2020. Kelly's best football is likely behind him, but the Vikings hope he's an upgrade over Garrett Bradbury at center.
Kelly (knee) was activated off injured reserve Saturday, and he doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Titans. Kelly was placed on IR on Nov. 5 and subsequently underwent arthroscopic surgery on his right knee. He was designated to return Dec. 11 but wasn't activated ahead of last Sunday's loss to Denver; however, after beginning this week with a pair of full practices before getting a rest day Friday, it appears Kelly will be able to return to the field Sunday. If that does happen, he will likely start at center, moving Danny Pinter back to a reserve role.
Kelly (knee) remains on injured reserve and will not play Sunday against the Broncos. The starting center will now miss his fifth straight game. Kelly has started all seven contests he's played in this season. Since he was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday, his return may not be far off.
Kelly (knee) was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday. The veteran offensive lineman has missed the Colts' last four games after being placed on IR due to a knee injury, but Wednesday's return to practice suggests he's almost past the issue. If Kelly is activated to Indianapolis' active roster in time, he could suit up for Sunday's matchup against the Broncos.
Kelly underwent successful arthroscopic surgery on his right knee and expects to play again in 2024, Mike Chappell of Fox 59 News Indianapolis reports. Kelly was sent to the Colts' injured-reserve list ahead of Week 10, so he'll be required to sit out until at least Week 15 at Denver. Whether Indianapolis feels there's any urgency to rush him back at that point could depend on its position in the AFC playoff picture, or lack thereof.
The Colts placed Kelly (calf) on injured reserve Tuesday. Kelly presumably sustained the injury during Sunday's loss to the Vikings. It's unclear how serious the injury is, but by being placed on IR, Kelly will be forced to miss the Colts' next four regular-season games. The earliest he can return will be Week 15 against the Broncos on Sunday, Dec. 15. In Kelly's absence, rookie fourth-round pick Tanor Bortolini will take over as the Colts' starting center.
Kelly (calf) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against Dolphins and is expected to play. Kelly missed Weeks 4 and 5 with a neck injury and then suffered a calf injury in last week's win over the Titans. He was unable to return to that game, but it's evidently not a serious issue for the Colts' center.
