Seth Williams: Breaking News

Reaches injury settlement

Williams (undisclosed) and the Raiders reached an injury settlement Tuesday, per the NFL's official transaction log. Williams was placed on injured reserve with Las Vegas on Monday after suffering an undisclosed injury during the preseason. Following Tuesday's settlement, the wide receiver will now be eligible to pass a physical and sign with another team ahead of the 2025 season.

Reverts to injured reserve

Williams (undisclosed) reverted to the Raiders' injured reserve list Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Williams went unclaimed off waivers, so he'll shift to injured reserve and be forced to miss the entire 2025 season unless an injury settlement is reached with the Raiders. The 2021 sixth-round pick hasn't seen regular-season action since his rookie campaign with the Broncos, when he played 61 snaps (47 on offense, 14 on special teams) over two games and logged his lone carry for 34 yards.

Waived with injury designation

Williams (undisclosed) was waived/injured by the Raiders on Sunday. Williams signed with the Raiders in late July, but he now appears to have sustained an injury early in the preseason. The wide receiver will now be eligible to be claimed by the remainder of the league, but if he goes unclaimed, he'll revert to injured reserve with Las Vegas.
