The Steelers signed Davis to the practice squad Tuesday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports. Davis spent time with the Saints during the preseason. Since going undrafted out of South Carolina State last season, Davis has yet to make his NFL debut. He'll now get a chance to continue his development in Pittsburgh.

The Saints signed Davis to a contract Sunday. Davis signed with the Eagles in January after spending the entire 2023 season on the Saints' practice squad. He was waived by Philadelphia on Wednesday, and after clearing waivers, the 24-year-old wide receiver will return to New Orleans in an attempt to crack the Saints' 53-man roster. Marquez Callaway was let go by the Saints to make room on the 90-man training camp roster for Davis.
