Silas Bolden: Everything you need to know

The Texans cut Bolden from the practice squad Tuesday, Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle reports. Bolden caught on with the Texans' practice squad in early September after failing to make the Vikings' 53-man roster at the end of training camp in late August. The undrafted rookie finds himself without a team once again, and he'll explore his next options to try and catch on with an organization in need of depth at wide receiver.

Bolden signed with the Texans' practice squad Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Signed by the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Texas back in April, Bolden appeared in two preseason games for Minnesota but caught just one pass for three yards across 27 offensive snaps.

Bolden was waived by the Vikings on Sunday, Craig Peters of the team's official site reports. Bolden signed with Minnesota as an undrafted free agent in late April and was competing for a depth spot during training camp. He logged one catch on three targets for three yards and added 76 yards on three kickoff returns across three preseason games. Bolden won't be part of the Vikings' 53-man roster heading into the regular season, but he'll look to join a team in need of wideout and returner depth once he clears waivers.
