Stanley Morgan: Breaking News

Let go by Tennessee

The Titans released Morgan on Wednesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports. Morgan is among the group of six roster cuts made by Tennessee on Wednesday, as the team prepares its roster to house rookies selected in the 2025 NFL Draft. After spending the 2024 campaign on the Titans' practice squad, Morgan inked a reserve/future contract with the team early January.

Two-point effort Monday

Fehervary scored a goal on two shots, added an assist and blocked five shots in Monday's 5-4 shootout win over the Senators. Fehervary has two multi-point efforts over his last six games, but he's been held off the scoresheet in the other four contests in that span. The 25-year-old is not a steady source of offense, instead filling a shutdown role on the Capitals' blue line. For the season, he has matched his career high from 2021-22 with 17 points (three goals, 14 assists) while adding 58 shots on net, 111 hits, 122 blocks and a plus-12 rating over 61 appearances.

Staying in Tennessee

Morgan signed a reserve/future contract with the Titans on Monday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports. Morgan spent his 2024 campaign on the Titans' practice squad after failing to catch on in New Orleans. His most recent in-game action came with the Bengals in 2023, when he appeared in three games and primarily contributed on special teams (four offensive snaps and 52 on special teams). The 28-year-old will likely compete for a similar role in Tennessee ahead of the team's 2025 season.
