Gilmore (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Falcons. Gilmore strained his left hamstring during the Vikings' Week 13 win over the Cardinals. He wasn't able to practice over the first two sessions of the week, and the veteran corner will be sidelined Sunday for the first time this season. Fabian Moreau is the top candidate to start at outside corner opposite Shaquill Griffin on Sunday due to Gilmore's injury.

Stephon Gilmore Latest News
Ruled out for Week 14
Gilmore (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Falcons. Gilmore strained his left hamstring during the Vikings' Week 13 win over the Cardinals. He wasn't able to practice over the first two sessions of the week, and the veteran corner will be sidelined Sunday for the first time this season. Fabian Moreau is the top candidate to start at outside corner opposite Shaquill Griffin on Sunday due to Gilmore's injury.
Logs DNP on Wednesday
Gilmore (hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday. Gilmore sustained a left hamstring strain in Minnesota's Week 13 win over Arizona, so missing Wednesday's practice comes as no surprise. The veteran cornerback is likely to be sidelined for the Week 14 contest against the Falcons unless he is able to practice in at least a limited capacity Thursday or Friday.
Tending to hamstring strain
Gilmore sustained a strained left hamstring during Sunday's game versus the Cardinals, Andrew Krammer of The Minnesota Star Tribune reports. Coach Kevin O'Connell said Monday that he's optimistic Gilmore "avoided a longer-term issue" with the injury that forced him out during the first half Sunday. His name will warrant looking out for when Minnesota releases its first official practice report of the week Wednesday.
Questionable to return Sunday
Gilmore (hamstring) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Cardinals, Kevin Seifert of ESPN.com reports. The starting cornerback recorded two tackles (one solo) and a pass breakup before exiting. Fabian Moreau replaced him, per Seifert.
Delivers game-sealing interception
Gilmore had six total tackles, two passes defensed and an interception in Sunday's 23-17 win over the Jets in London. Gilmore was targeted 14 times in the passing game and gave up seven receptions for 66 yards. He hasn't graded out exceptionally in pass coverage this season, but has been a steady veteran presence and made a big play when it counted Sunday, with his interception staving off a potential game-tying score by the Jets in the final minute.
Four tackles in win
Gilmore had four total tackles and a tackle for a loss in Sunday's win over Houston. Gilmore's late signing in training camp has added a needed steady veteran presence to a young secondary. He's allowed 16 receptions on 19 targets for a 91.0 NFL passer rating, according to Pro Football Focus, which is slightly worse than his last two seasons, however.
Reaches agreement with Minnesota
The Vikings are signing Gilmore (shoulder) to a one-year, $10 million contract, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Gilmore met with Minnesota last week, and the visit apparently went well, as the veteran cornerback is now set to join the Vikings' defensive backfield. The 33-year-old should immediately jump into a starting role, which will allow Byron Murphy to move over to his strongest position in the slot. Gilmore started all 17 regular-season games with Dallas year, showing that he still has plenty in the tank by tying his career high with 68 tackles (54 solo) while adding 13 defensed passes, including two interceptions. Gilmore had shoulder surgery in the offseason but appears to be recovered given Minnesota's willingness to ink him to a contract.
Visiting Minnesota
Gilmore (shoulder) is slated to visit the Vikings on Monday, Andrew Harbaugh of USA Today reports. Gilmore spent last season in Dallas where he broke up 13 passes and logged two interceptions across 17 games. He underwent shoulder surgery during the offseason, but his visit to Minnesota indicates he is nearly recovered. The Vikings have had problems at cornerback during training camp due to injuries, so Gilmore would be a veteran presence should he indeed be brought in.
