Traeshon Holden: Everything you need to know

The Cowboys signed Holden to a reserve/future contract Tuesday. Holden went undrafted out of Oregon last April and signed with Dallas. He was cut following the preseason but spent the regular season on the team's practice squad. Holden will try to work toward a 53-man roster spot next summer.

Holden was signed to the Cowboys' practice squad Wednesday. Holden went unclaimed on waivers after being let go Tuesday, ultimately sticking around Dallas as a member of the team's practice squad. The wide receiver will look to earn an elevation to the active roster at some point this season to make his NFL debut.

Dallas waived Holden on Tuesday. Holden went undrafted out of Oregon back in April, and despite spending the entire offseason with the Cowboys he couldn't secure a role on the 53-man roster. He'll now likely need to search for a role on a practice squad for his next NFL opportunity, whether with Dallas or elsewhere.
