The Patriots hosted Fehoko (undisclosed) for a tryout Tuesday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports. Fehoko reached an injury settlement with the Commanders in mid-August. The nature of the injury isn't clear, but the 2023 fourth-rounder appears to be fully healthy as he looks to join a team in need of depth on the defensive line.

Viliami Fehoko: Breaking News
Agrees to injury settlement
The Commanders waived Fehoko (undisclosed) with an injury settlement Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Fehoko had been waived/injured Aug. 11 and reverted to IR a day later. Since he was able to agree to an injury settlement, Fehoko is eligible to play in 2025 if he gets healthy and finds work elsewhere.
Reverts to IR
Fehoko (undisclosed) reverted to Washington's injured reserve Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Fehoko was let go the Commanders on Monday but will remain with the team after having cleared waivers. The 25-year-old will now be forced to miss the entirety of the upcoming campaign unless he's waived with an injury settlement.
