When the Cincinnati Bengals drafted Andy Dalton in the second round of the 2011 NFL draft, the quarterback wasn’t the only Texas Christian University alumnus who got the attention of fans across the country.

Dalton was the recipient of a congratulatory kiss from fiancee Jordan Jones, who became Jordan Dalton when she married Andy two months later.

The Internet quickly lit up with fans who were envious of Dalton because of his fiancee, and similar sentiment followed when the couple announced that Jordan gave birth to the couple’s first child.

Here’s what you need to know about Jordan and her marriage to the Bengals’ signal-caller:

1. Jordan & Andy Were College Sweethearts at TCU

Jordan and Andy started dating when both were students at TCU, where Andy led the Horned Frogs to a Rose Bowl berth and paved the way for the school to join the Big 12 conference — perhaps the most significant development in the history of the athletic program.

Jordan’s Instagram account features a host of photos of her posing in TCU purple, including the one above of her and Andy cheering on the Horned Frogs.

2. Jordan Is From Richardson, Texas

Jordan grew up in the affluent Dallas suburb of Richardson, Texas , about 40 miles northeast of the TCU campus in Fort Worth and about 250 miles north of Katy, the Houston suburb where Andy grew up.

3. Jordan & Andy Run a Foundation to Help Sick Children

Jordan helps run the Andy and Jordan Dalton Foundation, which helps seriously ill children in Greater Cincinnati.

The foundation describes itself as follows on its website:

The Andy & Jordan Dalton Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, was established in 2011. The primary focus of the Andy and Jordan Dalton Foundation is to provide seriously ill and physically challenged children throughout Greater Cincinnati with daily support and life changing experiences. Our goal is to have touched the lives of more than 50,000 children by 2014.

4. Jordan Gave Birth to the Couple’s First Child Last July

On July 1, 2014 — just weeks before Andy Dalton was set to report to Bengals training camp — Jordan gave birth to a baby boy named Noah Andrew Dalton.

Jordan has posted a handful of photos of Noah on Instragram, including the one above of Noah in a baby-sized version of his dad’s jersey.

5. Jordan & Andy Got Married in July 2011

Less than two months after the Bengals drafted Andy, he and Jordan got married on July 9, 2011.

Jordan talked about the wedding in a 2011 profile of her husband in Katy Magazine.

It was the best day of our lives. It was the greatest feeling to celebrate our marriage and the fact that we are going to spend the rest of our lives together.
