For the third time in four years, the AFC championship game will be held at Gillette Stadium.

The Patriots came back from two 14-point deficits Saturday night to beat the Ravens in a 35-31 thriller, evening the postseason series between the teams and earning their fourth straight trip to the title game.

A victory for the underdog Ravens would have put Baltimore in the AFC title game for the third time in the last four years. But the Patriots’ Devin McCourty batted down Joe Flacco’s Hail Mary attempt as time expired, securing New England a date with the Indianapolis Colts next Sunday.

The Colts pulled off a 24-13 upset of the Denver Broncos in Mile High Stadium to make the title game.

It will be the ninth trip to the title game for Tom Brady, who threw for three touchdowns and rushed for another to lead New England vs. Baltimore.

New England pummeled Indianapolis 42-20 November 16 in Indianapolis. The Colts also suffered a 43-22 defeat to the Pats in the playoffs last season.

This will be the Colts’ first AFC Championship Game in the Andrew Luck Era. Luck threw for 265 yards and 2 touchdowns Sunday.
