Odds & Picks to Win the 2015 World Series

With the Major League Baseball season just a few days away, the sportsbooks have released their odds for the favorites to win the 2015 World Series.

The early pick to win it all from sportsbooks monitored by OddsSharks.com are the Washington Nationals, who garnered 6/1 odds. The Los Angeles Dodgers were given the next best shot at 17/2.

The Nationals won the National League East in 2014, but fell in the NL Divisional Series to the eventual World Series champion San Francisco Giants.

In the offseason, the Nats added ace pitcher Max Scherzer to an already top-notch rotation. Add that to a deep bullpen and potent offense, and Washington is the team to beat.

Last year’s World Series participants did not get much love from the oddsmakers; the champion Giants got 18/1 odds, while the American League-winning Kansas City Royals came in at 33/1.

The best odds for the American League were the Boston Red Sox at 10/1.
