NHL defenseman Keith Yandle was traded from the Coyotes to the “win-now” Rangers. But, Keith isn’t the only one whose life is moving to the Big Apple. Wife Kristyn’s life will change, too.

2. Kristyn is From Boston

Kristyn and Keith are both Massachusetts natives. Kristyn is from the same Boston neighborhood as Martin Richard, an 8-year-old victim of the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing, according to AZ Central.

Keith honored Richard by wearing a jersey with his name on the back before a game against Chicago shortly after the attack, according to USA Today.


3. The Yandles Have a Daughter

In 2011, Kristyn gave birth to the couple’s first child, daughter Mila.


4. Keith Was Drafted in 2005

Keith was drafted in 2005 by the Coyotes out of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. He was named an alternate captain. He was with Phoenix until he was traded to New York.
