The Sixers are two big man away from having a starting line-up full of centers. Duke big man Jahlil Okafor was expected to go #2 to the Lakers, but Los Angeles opted to go with D’Angelo Russell. Okafor certainly was the best player available and Joel Embiid’s injury setback could have contributed to the move.
Jahlil Okafor paired with Nerlens Noel is a very strong frontcourt. Noel is a great defender and Okafor is the best offensive big man to enter the draft in a long time. Their games should compliment each other nicely.
