It’s been a pretty hectic couple of weeks in the WWE. Payback has come to a close and Elimination Chamber returned with two championship matches. Now for the month of June, we’ve arrived at the 2015 edition of Money in the Bank.
We’re not only getting a MITB Ladder match, but we’re also getting a ladder match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Several high-profile Superstars will be vying for the lauded briefcase while Ambrose and Rollins will do battle for the WWE’s biggest prize. WWE Money in the Bank 2015 is also packed with some other notable matchups that you’ll want to see.
Here’s our preview for all the announced matches at WWE Money in the Bank 2015.
R-Truth vs. King Barrett
Predictions & Winner: So how hilarious was it when Truth randomly showed up to tell the world he was ready to win this year’s MITB…even though everyone but him knew he wasn’t in the match? So hilarious! We still love Truth thanks to his comedic relief promos and his live personality. Truth’s going to take on King Barrett in the PPV Kickoff match. We’re not expecting to see anything but a so-so match here. Even though Barrett is this year’s KOTR, his recent string of losses make him look anything other than regal. Don’t be shocked to see Truth pull off the upset win here. WHAT’S UP?
The New Day (Big E and Xavier Woods) (c) vs. The Prime Time Players (Titus O’Neil and Darren Young) (WWE Tag Team Championship)
Predictions & Winners: So of course all you guys know who was closest to winning the Tag Team Championship Elimination Chamber match from The New Day, right? PTP! They were so close to dethroning the way-too-positive 3-man stable, but the numbers game caused Titus O’Neil and Darren Young to lose. Now that the both of these teams will be pitted against each other in a normal tag team match, we think PTP’s chances of winning increase exponentially. We all know Big E and Xavier Woods will find some way to get Kofi to aid them during this championship match. PTP will do everything in their power fend off their newest rivals, but we think they’ll fail to defeat New Day once again. Big E and Xavier Woods will steal the win and keep the titles once again.
Ryback vs. Big Show (WWE Intercontinental Championship)
Predictions & Winner: So the Big Show has returned…yay? Nay, actually. To be quite honest with you, this is the one match on the entire card we give 0 you-know-what’s about. We’re pretty pleased with Ryback winning his 1st Intercontinental Championship and singles title. And his 1st challenger is…the Big Show. Yeah…we have super low expectations for this match too. Whatever. Ryback wins. He just captured his 1st title in the WWE, so he’s not losing it anytime soon. Especially to Mr. Show.
Nikki Bella vs. Paige (WWE Divas Championship
Predictions & Winner: And the worst title reign in recent memory we’ve been tortured with goes to…NIKKI BELLA AS THE DIVAS CHAMPION! We’re beyond sick of seeing the Bella Twins flop all over WWE TV. Storyline wise, the twins once broken and now fixed partnership makes no sense. So it’s all good now between the both of ’em even though one twin wished the other died in the womb? And we’re supposed to cheer for them because they’re facing heels? Whatever, WWE. We still think Naomi is the one lady who’s gonna dethrone Nikki, so we don’t see Paige capturing the Divas title here. Nikki wins. Sigh…
