The Texans have been in our homes since August, appearing on HBO’s Hard Knocks. Now, we’ll really get to see what they’re made of.

Houston kicks off Wild Card weekend with the first playoff game of 2016, hosting Kansas City on Saturday.

The Chiefs come into the game with the league’s best winning streak, and were last defeated back in October. If they want to increase their streak they’ll need to figure out how to tackle Houston’s biggest weapons. On offense, they need to gameplan for J.J. Watt, who can take over the game at defensive end. On defense, they’ll need to slow down DeAndre Hopkins, who is coming off the greatest season in Texans WR history.

Here’s everything you need to know about the primetime matchup:

All anyone talks about when they talk Chiefs is their winning streak, which has been running since they defeated the Landry Jones-led Steelers on October 25h.

Andy Reid had never started 1-5 in his coaching career, so give the team credit for turning things around. But this team was never supposed to be 1-5 to begin with. That streak consisted of losses to four playoff teams and a one-point loss to the Bears.

So if scheduling gave the Chiefs their bad start, scheduling also gave them their win streak. They beat two playoff teams during their ten games: the aforementioned Steelers, and the Broncos, in the game Peyton Manning was pulled after his worst career outing.

Where are the quality wins? The Chiefs haven’t beat a team with a non-losing record since November, when they narrowly beat the Bills 30-22. Meanwhile, the Texans defeated healthy Bengals and Jets teams earlier in the season, and were tested by New England in primetime less than a month ago.

It’s not that the Chiefs are bad, but they might be a little untested heading into Saturday. There’s the saying about having a strategy until you’ve been punched in the mouth. The Texans have taken the hits before. What will happen if Kansas City gets roughed up early?
