The Boston Celtics are going to go down swinging if they lose out on signing Kevin Durant. The Celtics showed up in the Hamptons with Tom Brady along with several other Celtics players.
Boston GM Danny Ainge is trying hard to land Durant even wearing KD’s signature shoes to his son’s birthday party. Ainge is still wearing the shoes in the Hamptons as the above photo shows. Boston is one of six teams Durant is considering this free agency.
Durant met with the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers on Friday, July 1. The San Antonio Spurs started off the Saturday, July 2 meetings with Durant. The Celtics will close out the day with Brady and company.
The Miami Heat will meet with Durant on Sunday, June 3 to close out the meeting. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Durant will stay in the Hamptons with his inner circle and hopes to make a decision by July 4. He cannot officially sign with a team until July 6.
