Dak Prescott had quite the debut for the Dallas Cowboys. The rookie quarterback out of Mississippi State got the start for Dallas as Tony Romo was held out of the preseason opener against the Rams.

Prescott started by going 6-of-7 on his first drive and completed it with a touchdown to Dez Bryant. He connected with the star receiver twice on the opening drive.

In the second quarter, Prescott dropped a dime with this touchdown pass to Terrance Williams:

Kellen Moore entered training camp as the Cowboys backup but broke his ankle. There were rumors Dallas would acquire a veteran quarterback like Nick Foles, but the Cowboys opted to let things play out before making a move.

Prescott played the entire first half of the Cowboys first preseason game against the Rams. While he is not relevant in redraft leagues. Prescott should be owned in all dynasty leagues and makes a great stash candidate. After his debut performance, the cost of acquiring Prescott will be inflated.

Despite not being drafted until the 4th round. Prescott has the potential to make it at the NFL level. He was the best quarterback in the SEC last season.
