Nothing is guaranteed on Any Given Sunday. With that being said, as we enter Week 4 of the NFL season, we're surprised every weekend in fantasy football. That, of course, is a two-way street. There are good surprises that win us fantasy games and others that make us want to bang our heads against a wall ... continually. But that's why we play the game. Anyway, let's move on to the point of this. For the purposes of this post we'll point out some bigger names who definitely have the potential to be a detriment to your fantasy football team this weekend. And we'll also bring up a few names you might not be very familiar with, but who have a shot to be the breakout players of Week 4. Scroll through the gallery below to see our fantasy football breakouts and busts of Week 4. (Getty)

BREAKOUT: Brian Hoyer, QB, Chicago Bears
Opponent: vs. Detroit Lions
Hoyer actually had a big game in Week 3 against Dallas. Garbage points count in fantasy football. And that's a good thing because he may need to pile them up Sunday against Lions. Detroit is definitely susceptible to the pass -- the defense has allowed a league-high 10 touchdowns and opposing quarterbacks complete 68 percent of their passes. Hoyer should surprise Sunday. BUST: Eli Manning, QB, New York Giants
Opponent: at Minnesota Vikings
The Giants could be in trouble here. Minnesota might own the fiercest defense in the league. The Vikings feast on opposing QBs -- league-leading 15 sacks and allow under 60 percent of passes to be completed. Manning certainly has the play-makers in the emotional Odell Beckham Jr. (what, he is), rookie Sterling Shepard and feel-good story Victor Cruz. What could doom Manning on Monday night though is a struggling Giants running game. If they become one-dimensional, the "Eli Face" will be out in full force. (Getty)

BUST: LeSean McCoy, RB, Buffalo Bills
Opponent: at New England Patriots
This has less to do with McCoy than it does with the New England Patriots ability to do whatever they want on the football field. McCoy is have a very solid season, but Pats head coach Bill Belichick and defensive coordinator Matt Patricia have probably figured out he's only Bills player who can really hurt them. Gameplanned for. With Sammy Watkins also hobbling, the Tyrod Taylor to Greg Salas connection won't beat New England. That won't beat Boston College. By the way, keep an eye on this Patricia guy down the line. (Twitter)

BREAKOUT: Brice Butler, WR, Dallas Cowboys
Opponent: at San Francisco 49ers
There are longshots. Then there is Brice Butler. Look, I'm not telling you to run out and pick up Butler (I mean, the dude has 1 catch), but there is some intrigue here. And the premise of this post to point out players who have the potential to breakout in Week 4. So, here we are. It's starting to look like Dez Bryant is not going to play (hairline fracture in knee), opening the door for Butler to get an extended role. If so, let's just say the 49ers won't be throwing double coverage at him. Butler flashed some potential at the end of 2015, totaling 8 catches for 134 yards over the final 2 games. (Twitter)

BUST: Julian Edelman, WR, New England Patriots
Opponent: vs. Buffalo Bills
Ton Brady, where art thou? The Patriots might not miss you, but Edelman does. He's caught a healthy 18 of 23 passes for 10 yard per catch average, but something is off without Brady. That would probably be the 3 more catches and 30 more yards per game with a touchdown or two sprinkled in there. The Bills have been a bend-but-don't-break pass defense, yielding 285 yards per game but just 2 TDs. I don't know who is playing quarterback for the Pats on Sunday. Could be Jacoby Brissett. Could be Jimmy Garopollo. Shoot, could be Edelman. He played QB in college. I'm just saying there are safer receiving options than Edelman this week. Brady is back in Week 5, then Edelman will be back to his usual productive self. (Twitter)
