At Clash of Champions, The New Day will once again go head-to-head with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, except this time with Big E present.
The New Day is probably going to lose their title sometime soon, if only because their reign has lasted so incredibly long. They are the longest-reigning WWE Tag Team Champions in history, but that can’t last forever, and many viewers are already feeling that their reign is getting somewhat stale. Will Anderson and Gallows be treated a bit more seriously going forward, pushed as a real threat after winning the title rather than being a platform for strange comedy sketches? Or will New Day continue to rock?

Rusev vs. Roman Reigns
Will the match between Roman Reigns and Rusev actually, finally happen at Clash of Champions? (WWE.com)
The feud between Roman Reigns and Rusev finally picked back up recently after a strange non-ending at SummerSlam. Back at that pay-per-view, Reigns and Rusev were scheduled to have a match. But the two of them brawled outside of the ring for a few minutes and then the match was abruptly cancelled, with that feud barely being addressed the following night on Raw.
But recently, Rusev made a surprise early return from his honeymoon to attack Roman Reigns and cost him a shot at the Clash of Champions main event, and so the feud is back on, and hopefully we’ll actually see a conclusion to it this Sunday. Or maybe, like Eva Marie’s SmackDown debut, this match will continue to be called off in increasingly ridiculous ways.
Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins

Finally we have the main event, the Universal Championship match between Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins.
In the weeks since winning the title, Kevin Owens has deemed Monday Night Raw “The Kevin Owens Show.” But Seth Rollins doesn’t feel that Owens is a legitimate champion because after all, he only won the title because Triple H interfered and betrayed Seth Rollins.
Now, Rollins has his opportunity to get his revenge, hopefully without the involvement of Triple H or anyone else. Can Seth Rollins redeem himself after letting the WWE World Championship go to SmackDown at the Battleground pay-per-view in July? Or will the Kevin Owens show roll on?
