Lamar Jackson and DeShaun Watson square off in primetime as Clemson hosts Louisville. The two players are battling for many things. It is a conference game and the winner will be the favorite to win the ACC. Given both teams are ranked in the top five, each squad also has their sights set on the College Football Playoff. Finally, both quarterbacks are in the running for arguably the most well-known award in all of sports, the Heisman Trophy. All odds listed are courtesy of OddsShark and are based on the Vegas data before the Louisville-Clemson game. Jackson entered the weekend as the favorite to win the award at -250 based on his stellar 25 touchdown start to the season. Watson is all the way down at +900 which puts him at fourth among the favorites. Watson has had a slow start to the season, but he still has time to move up the rankings if Clemson is in the running for the College Football Playoff. Heavy breaks down the favorites to win the award along with the Vegas odds. In addition to the top favorites, Leonard Fournette and Dalvin Cook are tied for eighth at +3300. Jake Browning is all the way down at 12th with +10,000 but will get a boost based on his performance against Stanford. No. 5 Jabrill Peppers
School: Michigan
Position: Linebacker
Odds: +1600 (5th)
Outlook: The last time a defensive player won the award? Charles Woodson, another Michigan man, won it in 1997. It has been almost 20 years since Woodson's achievement. Jabrill Peppers can do it all, but there is a clear bias in Heisman voting towards offensive players. Peppers would need Michigan to go undefeated while the other players' teams start tanking. Considering everything, Peppers is unlikely to win the award, but it has nothing to do with his talent level. (Getty)

No. 4 DeShaun Watson
School: Clemson
Position: Quarterback
Odds: +900 (4th)
Outlook: Watson entered the season as one of the favorites to win the Heisman, but Clemson's sluggish start has caused Watson's odds to go down. The good news for Watson is he still has an opportunity to recover. A good performance against Louisville along with Clemson making another appearance in the College Football Playoff would have Watson's stock back at the top. (Getty)

No. 3 J.T. Barrett
School: Ohio State
Position: Quarterback
Odds: +700 (T-2nd)
Outlook: The nation may have forgotten but Barrett is a good quarterback. He is the veteran presence on a young Ohio State team that has had an impressive start to the season. Through four games, he has thrown for 650 yards, 10 touchdowns and just one interception. Barrett also has three rushing touchdowns. The stage only gets bigger for Ohio State as they get to the meat of their Big Ten schedule. (Getty)

No. 2 Christian McCaffrey
School: Stanford
Position: Running Back
Odds: +700 (T-2nd)
Outlook: McCaffrey is still in the running but average statistical performances against UCLA and Washington has his stock dropping. No player in the country can put up more yards in a short amount of time than McCaffrey. He does face an uphill battle after Stanford's blowout loss to Washington. Players always have more of a chance to win the award if their team is in the running for a championship. Stanford is not eliminated from contention, but the size of the loss means they would need a lot of help to get back in the picture. (Getty)

No. 1 Lamar Jackson
School: Louisville
Position: Quarterback
Odds: -250 (1st)
Outlook: Jackson's stat line through four games looks similar to what some players would consider a successful season. He has 13 passing touchdowns and 12 rushing touchdowns for a total of 25 touchdowns for the season. Jackson has thrown for 1,330 yards and rushed for 526 yards. A big game against Clemson could solidify him as the leader in the Heisman race. We have also seen a poor performance drop a player's stock. Fans saw this last year when Leonard Fournette was shutdown by Alabama. (Getty)
