Hurricane Matthew, which is now a Categroy 4 storm, is expected to make landfall in Florida late Thursday and is already forcing colleges and universities to reschedule college football games. The Sunday NFL game between the Miami Dolphins and Tennessee Titans that was scheduled to be played in Miami could be moved to Nashville.

Below are some of the events that have already been changed. We will continue to update this post.

Titans-Dolphins Game

Titans head coach Mike Mularkey said Tuesday during his radio show that there was a “slight chance” that the game could be moved to Nashville. “There’s been some discussion because of” the storm, he said. The Dolphins haven’t made any decisions yet.

“There’s a lot of uncertainty around what will happen in the next few days, and we’re watching it very closely. We’ll be prepared to react however we need to when we have more information,” Dolphins CEO Tom Garfinkel told the Miami Herald.

However, the Dolphins told The Sun Sentinel that they have not had discussions about moving the game. Meanwhile, the NFL said it was too early to make a decision on relocating the game.

The Dolphins’ Hard Rock Stadium is also hosting the Miami-Florida State college game Saturday night.
