This is the time of year when the worlds of college football and the NFL begin to converge. While there are a number of teams competing for a limited number of playoff spots, there are several squads that have not had the kind of season they would have hoped. As playoff chances dwindle, the focus of fans begins to shift towards the 2017 NFL Draft that begins April 28, 2017. One of the big questions heading into next year's draft is what teams will do at the quarterback position. Our latest mock draft has just one quarterback being selected in the top ten which is down from our initial October mock draft. While it is still early in the process, this does not look to be the strongest quarterback class. In addition to DeShaun Watson, Mitch Trubisky, DeShone Kizer and Brad Kaaya are all quarterbacks that could be fighting for a first round selection. The order of the mock draft is based on the current NFL standings. Feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @JonDAdams to discuss the mock draft. No. 10 Buffalo Bills: CB Quincy Wilson
School: Florida
Position: Cornerback
Class: Junior
Outlook: Wilson is battling teammate Jalen Tabor and Iowa's Desmond King to be the top corner selected in April's draft. At 6'1", Wilson has solid size for a potential NFL corner. Wilson already has three interceptions with just under a month left to go in the season. He has been a big part of the success of Florida's defense this season making it one of the best units in the SEC. (Getty)

No. 9 Tennessee Titans (via LA Rams): LB Reuben Foster
School: Alabama
Position: Linebacker
Class: Senior
Outlook: The Titans get the benefit of getting the Rams first round pick after Los Angeles moved up to grab quarterback Jared Goff. There is a good chance Foster will be the top linebacker off the board. Alabama has a good track record of producing high caliber NFL linebackers, and Allen looks to be the next man up in the Bama lineage. (Getty)

No. 8 San Diego Chargers: WR Mike Williams
School: Clemson
Position: Wide Receiver
Class: Red-shirt Junior
Outlook: While the Chargers receivers have stepped up in the absence of Keenan Allen, San Diego could use additional help at the receiver position. With Allen's annual battle to stay on the field, the Chargers need to find a consistent number one wide receiver. Williams will battle Corey Davis for the honor of top wide receiver in the 2017 NFL Draft. (Getty)

No. 7 Carolina Panthers: S Jamal Adams
School: LSU
Position: Safety
Class: Junior
Outlook: Adams is one of the best eligible safeties in the upcoming draft. He is an enforcer on defense with the ability to level players in the secondary. Adams also has great coverage ability to go with his tackling skills. He is one of several LSU secondary members that will get strong consideration at the next level. (Getty)

No. 6 Cincinnati Bengals: LB/S Jabrill Peppers
School: Michigan
Position: Linebacker/Safety
Class: Junior
Outlook: The Bengals have a solid offensive unit, but are struggling defensively. Peppers is the most versatile player in the draft. He has played safety, linebacker and returned punts. Peppers is the kind of player that will force the coaching staff to find a spot for him somewhere on the field. With Lamar Jackson's poor showing this past week, he may start generating more buzz for the Heisman Trophy.(Getty)

No. 5 New York Jets: QB Deshaun Watson
School: Clemson
Position: Quarterback
Class: Junior
Outlook: While I am not oblivious to the rumblings that DeShaun Watson's stock is falling, I still see him being selected with a high draft pick. Here's what I know, scouts can honestly evaluate players, but quarterback is the one position that tends to rise as the draft gets closer. As the process moves more towards the decision makers, there is a push for teams that need a quarterback to reach. Watson's body of work is still greater than any other quarterback of the 2017 class. No. 4 Jacksonville Jaguars: RB Leonard Fournette
School: LSU
Position: Running Back
Class: Junior
Outlook: The Jaguars appear to have talent but, for whatever reason, it has not led to wins on the field. Fournette is the most talented player on the board at this point and the league has seen what Ezekiel Elliott has done for the Dallas Cowboys offense. The Jags offense has many more holes than the Cowboys, but Fournette has the potential to be a perennial Pro Bowl player. Chris Ivory and T.J. Yeldon are not enough to stop Jacksonville from looking at a rare talent at running back. (Getty)

No. 3 Chicago Bears: DE Jonathan Allen
School: Alabama
Position: Defensive End
Class: Senior
Outlook: Allen has generated as much buzz as any player in the draft over the past month. All signs point to both the Alabama coaching staff and his teammates loving Allen. He is a high character player that can produce on the field. He had seven sacks heading into Week 12 of the college football season. Allen looks to be battling Myles Garrett as the top defensive lineman drafted. (Getty)

No. 2 San Francisco 49ers: WR Corey Davis
School: Western Michigan
Position: Wide Receiver
Class: Senior
Outlook: It may seem like a bit of a reach, but I have Davis as the number one receiver in next year's class. He has NFL size and is putting up video game numbers his senior season at Western Michigan. The 49ers need a lot of different things, but they desperately lack a number one receiver. He may not play at a Power Five school, but he can step onto an NFL field and start day one. (Getty)

No. 1 Cleveland Browns: DE Myles Garrett
School: Texas A&M
Position: Defensive End
Class: Junior
Outlook: Two key questions go into this pick. First, whether the Browns take a quarterback early depends on how they view Cody Kessler and their other quarterbacks long-term. Secondly, it also depends on how Cleveland views the 2017 quarterback class that is largely viewed as a weaker class. Myles Garrett is the most talented player in the draft and pass rushers are becoming increasingly more valuable in the league. Right now, I have the Browns passing on quarterback early, but this could change based on the draft process. (Getty)
