With a rib injury to receiver Jordy Nelson depleting the Green Bay Packers‘ offense already in the NFL Playoffs, there is even more concern when receiver Davante Adams was added to the injury report at the start of the week.

Adams is listed as a game-time decision for the NFC Championship game against the Atlanta Falcons on January 22. Though the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel wrote Tom Silverstein wrote January 21 that Adams “will be available” against the Falcons.

He suffered the ankle injury in the Packers’ 34-31 Divisional Round win against the Dallas Cowboys on January 15.

Adams was diagnosed with an ankle sprain from the incident and has been on Green Bay’s injury report throughout the week, along with receiver Geranimo Allison and Nelson. That leaves Green Bay with not a lot of receiving help in the game, if the three are unable to play.

However, Adams said the ankle injury that he is currently dealing with is “pretty painful, but not the worst,” he told ESPN’s Rob Demovsky. Adams added: ““Last year was definitely more difficult to deal with so far at this point.”

An ankle injury last season sidelined Adams for three games. When he returned, he didn’t seem to be his normal self, recording just three games with 50 yards or more receiving.

The 24-year-old receiver said to Demovsky about the NFC Championship game, “I mean, it’s a big game, it’s definitely going to have a lot to do with what’s going on come Sunday. But until then, I’m not sure.”
