From one famed California golf course to the next, the PGA Tour heads from Pebble Beach to Riviera this week for the Genesis Open. Formerly known as the Northern Trust Open, this tournament has been won by Bubba Watson two of the last three years, but he'll have plenty of competition in the form of a sizzling-hot Jordan Spieth--fresh off his dominant victory at Pebble Beach--as well as nearly the entire rest of the world Top 10 in Jason Day, Dustin Johnson, Hideki Matsuyama, Adam Scott, Justin Thomas, Sergio Garcia and Patrick Reed. In terms of DFS, the available studs plus the absurd amount of value picks in the low-$7,000 range makes it tempting to go with a "Stars and Scrubs" approach, though a balanced lineup could be a sneaky way to zig when everyone else is zagging. It will ultimately be a very interesting week, and you can click through the gallery for a closer look at my ideal lineup for Riviera. You can also click here for more DFS strategy and picks. Dustin Johnson
Price: $11,400
It's only a matter time before two things happen: 1) Johnson gets his first win of the season, and 2) he gets his first career victory at Riviera. This seems like a good place for both to happen, as DJ has has two Top-6 finishes in his last three starts in the United States, as well as an absurd five Top-5's in his last seven trips to Riviera (third in 2010, fourth in 2012, second in 2014, second in 2015, fourth in 2016). He's obviously one of the best in the game off the tee, which is key here, and he's No. 1 in the world in strokes gained on poa annua greens since 2013. It's tough to go against Jordan Spieth with the way he's playing, but I've got DJ winning this weekend. (Getty)

Jason Day
Price: $10,000
For being the No. 1 ranked player in the world and coming off a fifth-place finish at Pebble Beach, Day is flying a bit under the radar as just the fifth-most expensive option. Maybe some are concerned about his history at Riviera (two missed cuts and a T62), but his last appearance here was five years ago--well before he developed into the player he is now--and anytime I can get DJ and Day in the same lineup, I'm usually going to do it. Brandt Snedeker
Price: $7,600
There's lots of value to be had this week, but in terms of Vegas odds vs. DraftKings price, there is perhaps no one who offers better value than Snedeker, who has the ninth-shortest odds to win at 33-to-1 but is just the 24th most expensive player on DraftKings. Though he doesn't boast great course history here (two Top-20's and three missed cuts in six starts), he's playing well enough (Top-10 finishes in back-to-back starts) to use, especially at this price. J.B. Holmes
Price: $7,100
Branden Grace ($7,300), Holmes, Brendan Steele ($7,100), Brooks Koepka ($7,100), Pat Perez ($7,000), and more. The amount of quality players in the low-$7,000 range is fairly ludicrous, and it's likely going to be where lineups are won and lost this week. Most of the aforementioned names are going to be very popular, but the value is just too good to completely fade all of them. Not only is Holmes playing well, with three Top-35 finishes in his last three tournaments, but he has four Top-10's and six Top-12's in 10 career appearances at Riviera. He's pegged at 40-to-1 to win, the same as Phil Mickelson ($7,900) and Patrick Reed ($8,800). (Getty)

Brendan Steele
Price: $7,100
Steele is likely another popular option, but it's too hard to ignore him. After beginning the season with a victory at the Safeway Open in October, he has proceeded to make the cut each of his six other appearances, including a Top-20 in all four starts this calendar year. Ranked 16th on Tour in strokes gained tee to green and 27th in birdie or better percentage, he's simply playing as well as anyone outside the Spieth-DJ-Hideki-Thomas super-group. This ultimately means I'm choosing to fade Brooks Koepka, another major bargain at $7,100, and while that could come back to haunt me, I think it's worth the risk considering he'll be extremely popular but has zero experience at Riviera. Kyle Stanley
Price: $6,800
Though Stanley missed the cut in his last trip to Riviera in 2013, he's a compelling under-the-radar option. He has made four consecutive cuts, finishing 36th or better in all of them, and he has what it takes off the tee (sixth in strokes gained off the tee, and 11th in strokes gained tee to green) to have success here. Alternate Lineup: The Balanced Approach
Justin Thomas, $9,600
Patrick Reed, $8,800
Paul Casey, $8,600
Bubba Watson, $8,300
Phil Mickelson, $7,900
Tony Finau, $6,800
There's a legitimate chance that J.B. Holmes, Brendan Steele and Brooks Koepka all come in at over 40 percent owned. If you're looking to go contrarian, a balanced lineup may be a good way to do that. With this particular lineup, you've got a pair of two-time champs at Riviera in Watson and Mickelson. You've got Thomas, who won two tournaments not long ago but still seems primed to fly under the radar in this field. You've got Reed, who always has tournament-winning upside, you've got Casey, who sets up well for this course, and you've got Finau, a sneaky option who has been playing well and has the power to find success here. It's dangerous avoiding the upper-tier, but there's still a lot of potential here. (Getty)
