Kristen Schaal stars in a saucy, 50 Shades of Grey themed commercial for T-Mobile.
T-Mobile officially tied Anheuser-Busch tonight for the most advertising time during the Super Bowl. The company released their commercial with Justin Bieber a few days ago, and it garnered more than 6 million views within the first couple of days.
In the spot above, Schaal finds herself in an S&M dungeon, where she is forced to endure the “pain” Verizon customers are subject to when they don’t have unlimited data. I4U News reports T-Mobile CEO John Legere as saying that the company decided to give Schaal more air time than they initially intended. “… when we saw the extra cuts she did about the pain of limits, we knew we had to make it into a spot for the game. Keep an eye out for an extra 60 seconds with Kristen during the game. It was almost too hot for TV.”
Schaal is an actress and comedian, known for her work on Flight of the Conchords, Bob’s Burgers, 30 Rock, Toy Story, and The Last Man on Earth.
