The Women’s Championship match for WrestleMania 33 has just been announced.

As revealed on March 7th’s episode of SmackDown Live, the Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania 33 will be Alexa Bliss versus every single available woman on the entire SmackDown roster. This will include Becky Lynch, Mickie James, and Natalya.

It’s unclear whether Nikki Bella will be included in the match; Daniel Bryan announced on SmackDown Live that every “available” woman will participate, and so presumably, any superstars who already have a match that night will not be considered available. It is rumored that Nikki Bella will fight in a tag team match at WrestleMania 33 with John Cena, with the two of them facing The Miz and Maryse.

Carmella will likely be included in the match, as there don’t appear to be any other WrestleMania plans for her.

The only other SmackDown Live superstar that leaves is Naomi, who is currently recovering from an injury. However, the language of Daniel Bryan’s announcement means that if Naomi is unexpectedly cleared to compete before WrestleMania, she can easily be added into the match, as she would immediately become “available” upon being cleared.

Originally, the plan for WrestleMania 33 was to have Naomi defend her Women’s Championship, but unfortunately, she was forced to vacate the title last month due to a legitimate knee injury.
