This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw opened with a massive “Undertaker!” chant prior to Roman Reigns’ entrance.
Following The Undertaker’s final match on Sunday night, the first Raw back opened with this show of respect which lasted several minutes and was one of the longest sustained chants in recent memory. The chant only grew louder as it went along.
Towards the end of the chant, “Roman sucks” was added onto it, with this chant becoming just as loud and with the crowd rotating between “Undertaker!” and “Roman sucks!”
Roman Reigns entered at the very end of this chant, and virtually the entire auditorium in Orlando, Florida erupted in boos.
As Roman paced the ring, the crowd continued to boo, eventually breaking out in a “F— you Roman,” “You suck,” and “A—hole!” This went on for several minutes, with it taking over 12 minutes into the broadcast for anything to happen other than the crowd chants.
