Brie Bella has posted her reaction to the engagement of her sister to John Cena.
In a video posted to the official YouTube channel The Bella Twins, Brie Bella expressed surprise but at the same time said that it’s not surprising at all because Nikki Bella and John Cena already seem like a married couple.
“I kind of feel like they’re already married, and I’ve always felt that in my heart, but I know my sister’s always wanted that proposal, and she just really wanted the validation of marriage, and to see her dreams come true in that ring…if you could see her face, and how giddy she was, and just her tears…” Brie Bella said.
Brie Bella also said that she heard rumors about John Cena planning this engagement, but she didn’t think they were true because she didn’t think he would do it in public.
Bella has a moment in the video where she briefly debates whether her sister knew this was coming, but she ultimately concludes that Nikki Bella was likely surprised.
“[W]e’ve been waiting for this moment, and I’m so excited, and I love you Nicole,” Brie Bella says. “I’m so happy for you.”
Nikki and Brie Bella are twin sisters in real life. Brie Bella is currently on hiatus from the WWE; when she left, she said that it was for family reasons.
