Shinsuke Nakamura finally made his debut on SmackDown Live this week
This came about an hour into the show during a segment with The Miz and Maryse. The Miz and Maryse were in the ring mocking John Cena and Nikki Bella, saying that their proposal was just a stunt to generate media attention and to make Cena appear more relatable.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, Shinsuke Nakamura’s theme kicked in, and he entered the ring.
The crowd in Orlando, Florida was absolutely ecstatic to see Nakamura, with a “Nakamura” chant lasting at least a full 15 seconds.
Nakamura did not actually end up interacting with The Miz and Maryse, though. They quietly left the ring, and by the time Nakamura’s entrance was over, the show went to commercial.
