WWE “Superstar Shake Up” to Occur Next Week on ‘Raw’: Who’s Going Where?

Vince McMahon announced tonight on Raw that a WWE “shake up” is to take place next week. So what does this mean, exactly? Is another draft going to occur?

From the way McMahon described this on Raw tonight, and from a subsequent post on WWE.com, it sounds like this is something entirely separate from a new draft. Rather, it seems that this will just involve the general managers of Raw and SmackDown trading various superstars back and forth.

“The WWE Chairman will be granting both sides an opportunity to make trades, deals and other moves that they feel fit,” the WWE.com article says.

Not once has the WWE used the word “draft” to describe this process. Rather, they’re officially referring to it as a “Superstar Shake-up.” It appears that the changes will be announced both on next week’s Raw and next week’s SmackDown Live.

So who might go where in the shake up? On Twitter, AJ Styles recently hinted that he wants to go to Raw; considering he really hates Shane McMahon, the commissioner of SmackDown Live, it would make sense for Styles to be traded to Raw.

But who could he be traded with? It’s difficult to tell what moves Kurt Angle will make, as he just recently took on his new position as general manager of Raw.

We’ll likely hear more about this so-called superstar shake up on this week’s episode of SmackDown Live.
