Tonight on SmackDown Live, Bray Wyatt challenged Randy Orton to something called a “House of Horrors” match for the WWE Championship.
This came at the very beginning of SmackDown Live on April 4th. Bray Wyatt challenged Randy Orton to what he called a “House of Horrors” match as their rematch for the championship, and Orton accepted.
So what is a House of Horrors match? Nobody really knows; that isn’t a thing. But in the segment, Wyatt said that the match would push Orton to his limits, both physically and mentally, so it will clearly be something pretty out there and physically demanding.
Plus, at the end of the match, one of them will be sentenced to eternal damnation, according to Bray Wyatt.
Some have speculated that the match might be something like an Asylum Match, which is a cage match where weapons are suspended from the cage; this was used only at Extreme Rules 2016 with Dean Ambrose and Chris Jericho.
Others have speculated the match might actually take place at the Wyatt Family compound, or at least a similar type place, as the actual compound was burnt to the ground by Randy Orton.
