WATCH: Roman Reigns Returns to ‘Monday Night Raw,’ Attacks Braun Strowman

On Monday Night Raw this week, Roman Reigns returned to action, beating up Braun Strowman.

This came as Braun Strowman faced Kalisto in a match. Roman Reigns ran in, attacking Braun Strowman and particularly targeting the arm that Strowman “injured” at Payback last week.

The segment concluded with Strowman retreating as Roman Reigns stood victorious and his theme played.

This all comes after Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman clashed at Payback, the WWE pay-per-view which aired on April 30th. Strowman defeated Reigns at the show, and it was subsequently stated on Monday Night Raw that both of them were seriously injured; Roman had supposedly reinjured his ribs, and Strowman had supposedly torn his rotator cuff.

It was thought after Payback that Roman Reigns might be given another hiatus, with the Payback injury being the in-storyline reason for his absence. That does not appear to be the case anymore.

On Monday Night Raw tonight, Braun Strowman said that he wants to have another match with Roman Reigns so that he could put an end to him for good. Strowman said that he then wants Brock Lesnar, the Universal Champion.

This may be the WWE’s way of sidelining Braun Strowman for a few weeks, as Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that Strowman has been injured and will be gone for one to two months. The WWE has not confirmed this.
