LIVE STREAM: WWE Extreme Rules 2017 Kickoff Show

Extreme Rules, the latest WWE pay-per-view, is just a few hours away.

The evening will get started with the Extreme Rules kickoff, which begins at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Although the Extreme Rules show itself is only being broadcast on the WWE Network, the kickoff show is available to watch for free in the embedded YouTube player via the WWE’s official YouTube channel.

WWE kickoff shows traditionally consist of banter between the hosts, who set up the matches that are to come during the pay-per-view itself and offer their predictions of the night’s events. There are also sometimes promo segments that are set backstage.

In addition, there’s always one match on the kickoff show, and this time, the match will be between Apollo Crews and Kalisto. This match was a very last minute addition, only being announced earlier today.

The Apollo Crews vs. Kalisto match comes in the middle of a storyline involving Titus O’Neil. When Apollo Crews was moved to Raw in the superstar shake up, Titus O’Neil formed an alliance with him, offering to serve as his manager. O’Neil refers to “The Titus Brand,” and after joining up with Titus O’Neil, Apollo Crews turned heel, attacking Enzo Amore on an episode of Monday Night Raw.

On a recent episode of Monday Night Raw, Kalisto confronted Apollo Crews, asking what happened to him since he joined up with the Titus Brand. This culminated in a match, which Kalisto won. It remains to be seen if Kalisto can score another victory today or if Apollo Crews will emerge victorious.

The actual Extreme Rules show begins at 8:00 p.m. on the WWE Network. This pay-per-view will feature a main event match which is a fatal five-way between Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, and Bray Wyatt. The winner will go on to face Brock Lesnar at Great Balls of Fire.
