LIVE STREAM: WWE Great Balls of Fire Kickoff Show

WWE.com Neville and Akira Tozawa will fight for the Cruiserweight Championship at Great Balls of Fire.

The WWE’s latest pay-per-view, Great Balls of Fire, is about to begin. But before the event itself gets started, there will be a kickoff show.

The Great Balls of Fire kickoff show begins at 7:00 p.m. Eastern Time. It can be viewed in its entirety in the embedded YouTube player via the WWE’s official YouTube channel.

This is a rare kickoff show that actually features a championship match. The kickoff is where viewers can see the Cruiserweight Championship match between Austin Aries and Akira Tozawa. Tozawa and Neville have been feuding over the past few weeks, with Tozawa always being represented by Titus O’Neil. O’Neil is kind of the one who got this whole feud going, saying that Tozawa could easily beat Neville. We’ll see how true that is during the Great Balls of Fire kickoff show.

A WWE kickoff show always features at least one match, and the rest of the hour is filled by the hosts talking among themselves and providing predictions of the night ahead. There’s also usually some discussion with the superstars who have matches that night, occasionally including some actual promos that viewers will want to be sure to catch.

Of course, Great Balls of Fire itself can not be viewed legally for free, and you’ll have to subscribe to the WWE Network to watch the full show (or sign up for a WWE Network free trial). However, the WWE always makes the kickoff show available on their YouTube channel, mostly as a way to entice more viewers to subscribe for the event itself.

Great Balls of Fire will be headlined by a match between Brock Lesnar and Samoa Joe for the Universal Championship. There will also be an ambulance match between Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman, as well as a Raw Women’s Championship match between Alexa Bliss and Sasha Banks, and a 30-minute Iron Man match for the Raw Tag Team Championship between The Hardy Boyz and Cesaro and Sheamus.
