WWE The Punjabi Prison structure on SmackDown Live.

Tonight on SmackDown Live, Jinder Mahal will provide a preview of Battleground by actually bringing the Punjabi Prison structure to Tuesday’s broadcast. Plus, AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura will face off against Kevin Owens and Baron Corbin in a tag team match, and Mike Kanellis will make his in-ring debut in a match against Sami Zayn. SmackDown Live will air tonight at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time on the USA Network. Here’s a look at what we can expect from tonight’s broadcast, according to WWE.com.

This Sunday at Battleground, Jinder Mahal will face off against Randy Orton in a Punjabi Prison match. That’s a type of match that has only happened a few times in WWE history, but tonight on SmackDown Live, Jinder Mahal will give viewers an idea of exactly how daunting it is by bringing the Punjabi Prison structure itself to the show. Will Randy Orton make an appearance and confront Jinder Mahal ahead of Battleground?

Plus, four Battleground competitors will go up in a tag team match tonight: AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura will team up to face Baron Corbin and Kevin Owens, their respective opponents at Battleground. Styles is defending his U.S. Championship title against Owens on Sunday, and Nakamura is facing Corbin in a match at well. So which pairing will be able to gain the upper hand ahead of the upcoming pay-per-view?

In addition, Mike Kanellis will make his in-ring debut tonight, facing off against Sami Zayn. This comes after a few weeks of Mike and Maria Kanellis being made extremely angry by Zayn interrupting them on a few occasions. Zayn attempted to apologize a few times, but it was no use, and last week, Mike Kanellis smashed a glass vase over Sami Zayn’s head. Now, these two will settle things in the ring tonight.

John Cena is also set to give an interview on SmackDown Live tonight. What will he have to say to Rusev ahead of their Flag Match on Sunday? What are his plans for taking down The Bulgarian Brute? And will Rusev find a way to respond?

Finally, Tyler Breeze and Fandango seem to be getting closer and closer to finding out who attacked them a few weeks ago, and tonight, they will participate in an X-Files parody segment. Will they get any closer to finding their suspects? We’ll find out when SmackDown Live goes live tonight at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time on the USA Network.
