Cardinals quarterback Josh Rosen
After the Seattle Seahawks (1-2) narrowly lost their first two games on the road in Denver and Chicago, they returned home as quarterback Russell Wilson was instrumental in an important bounce-back win in Week 3 against the Dallas Cowboys in front of the “12th Man.”
The Seahawks’ “Legion of Boom” is no more, but All-Pro safety Earl Thomas and what is remaining of the Seahawks defense are licking their chops as they face rookie quarterback Josh Rosen and the Arizona Cardinals (0-3) in a matchup of NFC West teams on Sunday afternoon.
The game is scheduled to start at 4:05 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on Fox in select areas (coverage map here). If you can’t watch live, “Hulu with Live TV” also comes with 50 hours of Cloud DVR storage (with the ability to upgrade to “Enhanced Cloud DVR,” which gives you 200 hours of DVR space and the ability to fast forward through commercials).

If the Game is Out of Your Market
SundayTicket.TV allows you to watch a live stream of games that are out of your market and aren’t nationally televised. Thomas was instrumental in the Seahawks’ 24-13 win last week. He picked off Dak Prescott twice, sealing the game. What’s ironic is Thomas’ play is still elite, but there are signs off the field that insist he probably still wants out of Seattle. Thomas missed several, non-injury related, practices again this week.
Seattle gets some good news this week as wide receiver Doug Baldwin is expected to return to the lineup. Baldwin, out since Week 1 with a knee injury, practiced this week, though in limited capacity. Head coach Pete Carroll praised what he saw from Baldwin and Wilson.
Rosen was thrown into the fire – a dumpster fire – at the very end of the Cardinals’ 16-14 loss to the Chicago Bears in Week 3. After Bradford mustered two touchdowns in the first half, the offense stalled mightily in the second half, and in addition to two interceptions, it was finally time for the No. 10 overall pick to step in.
Head coach Steven Wilks was criticized as star running back David Johnson was benched on a key third-and-two situation late in the fourth quarter. Johnson hurled in a 21-yard touchdown pass from Bradford last week, but has remained a disappointment overall. The hope is that Rosen’s arm strength and ability to stretch the field will help the Cardinals offense move vertically easier than the first three weeks.
Veteran Larry Fitzgerald will also need to help the rookie quarterback. Fitzgerald is questionable with a hamstring injury, and has barely looked 100% in September. Fitzgerald was only targeted twice in last week’s loss to Chicago, a new career-low for the future Hall of Fame wide receiver.
