Arch Manning's NIL valuation is changing

As the Longhorns head into their fourth game in a shaky season so far, quarterback Arch Manning’s NIL valuation is starting to dip, while other teams are beginning to catch up.

Arch Manning’s Valuation Has Dropped by Almost $1 Million in the Last 10 Weeks

According to On3, Manning’s estimated name, image, and likeness (NIL) valuation is at $5.5 million. This is down about $320,000 from the previous estimate. Over the past 10 weeks, he’s seen a decline of $813,000 or 13% — nearly $1 million.

He most recently announced a deal with Warby Parker glasses on August 27, and wiht Raising Cane’s on June 28, 2025.

Manning still holds the top-ranked NIL valuation, but others are starting to close in.

Carson Beck’s NIL Valuation is Growing

In contrast to Manning’s steep NIL valuation decline, Carson Beck’s is slowly growing.

Beck, the quarterback for the Miami Hurricanes, is closing in with an NIL valuation of $4.9 million. It’s grown a modest 2% in the last 10 weeks. But he still may ultimately grab the number one spot if Manning continues to experience a steep decline from week to week.

Jeremiah Smith, wide receiver for the Ohio State Buckeyes, isn’t that far behind, with a valuation of $4.2 million and listed at number 3. His valuation has remained steady.

OU’s Quarterback Is Ranked at Number 8 in His NIL Valuation

Texas is facing off against Sam Houston State on Saturday, September 20, at 7 p.m. Central.

This game brings the team less than a month away from the annual showdown against OU. And some fans are beginning to wonder just how Manning will fare against their quarterback John Mateer.

Mateer is ranked eighth in NIL valuations, with an estimated worth of $3.2 million. He’s still far behind Manning in those terms, but attention is beginning to shift in his direction. His valuation has risen by 6% in the last 10 weeks.

Manning Was Booed During Last Week’s Game

Although the Longhorns were victorious last week against UTEP, Manning’s performance was shaky enough to get him booed by fans at one point during the game.

At the end of the first half, head coach Steve Sarkisian wasn’t overly concerned about Manning’s performance, noting that it was a right of passage for a quarterback to get booed.

“He got booed the first half, now he can start playing,” Sarkisian said.

However, some analysts believe this adversity will end up being good for Manning in the end.

Fox Sports analyst Colin Cowherd said during a segment with Joel Klatt this week: “I think (for) Arch Manning, actually, this is the greatest thing that ever happened to him. It’s real turbulence… I’m going to argue this is essential if your’e going to make it on Sundays.”
