At the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, fans couldn’t help but notice something different about Tommy Fleetwood. For the first time in more than a decade and a half, the English professional teed it up without his familiar Nike gear from head to toe. Instead, Fleetwood sported Pebble Beach-branded apparel throughout the week, signaling the end of a long-standing partnership and the beginning of a new chapter.
Tommy Fleetwood’s Nike Contract Ends
Over the past few tournaments, Fleetwood began mixing things up, wearing a Discovery Dubai hat and even a Masters polo during competition rounds. At Pebble Beach, however, the shift became more noticeable to spectators. While he continued to wear Nike golf shoes, Fleetwood rotated new gloves, hats, and apparel by brands such as as Vuori and Lululemon, marking the first time in 16 years he competed without a full Nike kit.
When asked about the wardrobe switch, Fleetwood confirmed that his contract had expired.
“Our contract was ending, and it just turned out like we, you know, sort of didn’t end up in a place where I’m wearing Nike stuff this year,” Fleetwood said.
True to form, the 33-year-old handled the transition with optimism and positivity, focusing on what opportunities lie ahead.
“Who knows what’s going to happen in the future. But this is cool.” He said. “Like I don’t know, like I feel like I’m a big golf fan. I really like golf stuff, so it’s quite nice to be wearing Pebble Beach clothing. I mean, my kids would absolutely love this stuff so I feel pretty lucky to have it on.”
Fleetwood also reflected on how special tournament logos and venues can be for players and fans alike.
“There’s some amazing logos around the world, and I also think they’re just like memorable pieces, right, when you come to a special place,” he said. “My collection’s got a bit bigger, that’s for sure. “
Fleetwood Records Fourth Straight Top-5 Finish
While his apparel may have changed, Fleetwood’s form certainly has not. He capped off the week with a tie for fourth alongside World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler. Just ahead of them in a tie for second were Sepp Straka and Min Woo Lee, while Collin Morikawa claimed the victory.
The T4 finish marked Fleetwood’s fourth consecutive top-five result, a remarkable stretch of consistency that highlights the level he’s been playing at over the past year. That run includes his breakthrough win at the Tour Championship, where he captured his first PGA Tour title and secured the FedExCup crown back in August 2025. The win served as a long-awaited milestone for one of the game’s most respected talents.
Now boasting one PGA Tour victory, six runner-up finishes, six third-place finishes, 32 top-five results, 46 top-10s, and 90 top-25 finishes, Fleetwood starts the 2026 season in his prime.
As for what comes next, both on and off the course, Fleetwood remains characteristically humble.
“We’ll have to see what happens throughout the year,” he said.
Whatever he wears, one thing seems certain: Fleetwood’s game continues to speak louder than his logos.
