It has been quite a few months for Wyndham Clark and girlfriend, Emily Tanner, who revealed their relationship in style at the Masters. The couple “hard launched” their relationship in Augusta as Tanner served as Clark’s caddie at the Masters Par 3 Contest.
PGA Tour golfers often select their significant others as the caddie for the annual event. Months later, it appears things have gotten serious for Clark and his girlfriend.
During the BMW Championship, Tanner announced that she plans to move from California. Clark’s girlfriend hinted that she intends to move in with Clark.
“I cannot believe I’m about to say this, but I am moving,” Tanner revealed in an Instagram video posted on August 20, 2026. “I have lived in California for the last five years and honestly, I never thought that I would leave here.
“I think one of the most special parts about falling in love is realizing that the life you’ve pictured for yourself can completely change when you find someone that you want to build it with,” Tanner continued.
“After months of living out of a suitcase, I am so excited that I finally get to live with my best friend and start our new chapter together. It’s definitely bittersweet to leave California, but I think I’m more excited than anything.”

Clark headed into the final round of the BMW Championship with a sizable lead on the field. The golfer planned to lean on his girlfriend as Clark aims to add another trophy to his collection.
“Fortunately, I got a great girlfriend I can hang out with, and she distracts me and keeps me from worrying about what’s going on and I stay in the present, so she helps a lot,” Clark told reporters on August 22.

Tanner admitted that she has had to learn quickly when it comes to golf. Clark’s girlfriend did not follow the sport closely prior to meeting the PGA Tour golfer.
“Oh, it’s been so much fun,” Tanner told Detroit reporter Brad Galli during a July 28, interview. “It was definitely not on my bingo card.
“I did not know much golf before I met him, so it’s just funny being pushed into that environment. But it’s been so much fun to travel and support him. And yeah, I’ve been loving it.”
Tanner also revealed on Instagram that she plans to start taking golf lessons. It has been a season of change for the couple, but Tanner appears excited about the next chapter.
