The Atlanta Braves desperately need a victory after losing seven of their last nine games, including each of the first two games of their series against the Milwaukee Brewers.
On Sunday, Atlanta will face Milwaukee one more time in the series finale at Journey Bank Ballpark at Historic Bowman Field in Williamsport, Pennsylvania, as part of the Little League Classic.
Ahead of the game, however, Braves manager Walt Weiss made a sudden lineup change involving All-Star catcher Drake Baldwin.
Braves Announce Baldwin Decision
Baldwin has spent most of the season near the top of the order, batting either leadoff or directly behind Ronald Acuna Jr. in the No. 2 spot.
On Sunday, Weiss has moved Baldwin all the way down to the No. 5 spot, marking the first time this season that he has batted there.
Michael Harris II, who has plenty of experience batting leadoff, will take over the top spot, while Acuña Jr., Matt Olson and Ozzie Albies will follow Harris II and bat ahead of Baldwin.

Baldwin’s 2026 Season
Baldwin has been one of the best hitters in the Braves’ lineup this season. However, he’s struggled at the plate over his last four games, going just 1-for-15.
On the year, he’s batting .268 across 107 games and 418 at-bats, with 112 hits, 21 home runs and 63 RBIs. He’s also slugging .443 with a .795 OPS.
