The 2026 minor-league season is over, but that doesn’t stop roster transactions from taking place.
Here are the five moves that the Dodgers’ AAA affiliate made this week, according to the OKC Comets’ transactions tracker:
“Oklahoma City Comets activated RHP Nick Robertson from the Development List.”
“Oklahoma City Comets activated OF Chris Newell from the Development List.”
“Oklahoma City Comets activated RHP Ryder Ryan from the Development List.”
“Oklahoma City Comets activated RHP Antonio Knowles from the Development List.”
“Oklahoma City Comets activated LHP Jackson Ferris from the Development List.”
The activation from the Development List basically safeguards these players from being moved, and in the rare event that the Dodgers’ MLB club needs an extra arm or player during this playoff period, these guys serve as Taxi Squad players.
Looking at a few of the players, Ryder Ryan is the brother of River Ryan, who was traded to the Detroit Tigers for Tarik Skubal.
Jackson Ferris is one of the Dodgers’ top prospects, and he’s coming off a solid campaign with AAA Oklahoma City (119 strikeouts in 109.0 IP).
