The Milwaukee Brewers may have only won two out of three against the Atlanta Braves (thanks to Matt Olsen), but they are still one of the best teams in the league. And now, they have put the entire league on notice with a recent MLB announcement.

Monday, August 24th, 2026, is an off day for the Brewers, but that doesn’t mean that news doesn’t trickle through.

The Brewers’ upcoming schedule to finish August includes games against the New York Mets, Texas Rangers, and Chicago Cubs.

For the first time in over two months, the Los Angeles Dodgers are no longer the top team on MLB.com’s Power Rankings.

For the week of August 23rd, the Brewers have been crowned #1.

The latest power rankings wrote this about the Brewers being ranked at the top: “The Brewers remain on pace for the first 100-win season in their history. They’ve actually won 90 games or more 12 times, with seven of those coming in the last 18 years and five coming in the last eight. This is as good as it has ever been for Brewers fans.”

The Brewers own an 81-50 record with a .618 winning percentage. That record is good enough for the top of the National League, the NL Central, and the MLB.

The Brewers rank third in stolen bases (129), third in team batting average (.254), second in on-base percentage (.337), fifth in RBIs (611), and fifth in hits (1123).

All of that while ranking last in home runs with 120.
