The Mets have had a slow start to the 2026 season.
They are currently 15-25 in 40 games, which has them as the last-place team in the National League East.
At home, the Mets have gone 6-12 in 18 games.
Despite their high-profile roster, they are already coming off a season where they missed the 2025 MLB playoffs.
Right now, the Mets are 8.0 games back of the St. Louis Cardinals for the final Wild Card spot.
